Welcome to Indiana Virtual School!

Parents have a significant role in online learning.

You and your student are valued members of our learning community, and we are committed to providing you the most engaging, caring, and successful educational experience possible. We believe that regular and convenient communication opens the door to student success.

As an INVS parent or guardian, you will be able to:

Get Advice

Not sure which classes your student should take? Struggling with a learning challenge? Expert academic advice is available anytime, free of charge, via email, phone, or face-to-face meeting. INVS teachers can help identify beneficial connections to academic success for your student.

Monitor Your Student's Progress

After your student creates an account to sign up for classes, you will create your own Parent/Guardian Account that you will use to monitor course requests and progress in each course.

Support Academic Integrity

Academic Integrity is one of our core values and one of the most important areas of focus as a learning organization. Students with Academic Integrity make decisions based on ethics and values that will prepare them to be productive and ethical citizens. Read our policy on Academic Integrity.

Communicate with Teachers

Your student's teacher will be available to answer questions about the course and help identify any useful connections between your student and the course material. You can expect regular contact from your student's teacher(s) to discuss the course and your student's progress. If you have a specific question, concern, or just want to chat, INVS faculty and administration are available via phone or email.
